Do you install or service geothermal heat pumps?
No, we specialize in cold climate air source heat pumps like Mitsubishi as well as air conditioning and gas furnaces.
Do you run the business from your home?
Yes, Orange HVAC currently operates as a remote HVAC company with equipment storage and operations run from a variety of locations, mainly a beautiful old farm house in Kemptville and a sales office in Manotick. This allows us to keep our overhead low and pass those savings to our clients. We are currently looking for land to buy & build our first commercial location as we expand operations.
Do you install boiler systems?
Yes and quite well actually. Orange HVAC has a full line of hydronic solutions with IBC and Slant/Fin products. From in-floor radiant and snow melt systems or from hot water baseboards to cast iron rads, we have you covered.
Are you fully insured and licensed?
Yes, Orange HVAC is fully insured and all of our technicians are fully licensed mechanics or registered apprentices with the Ontario Ministry of skilled trades and/or TSSA
Do you offer financing?
Yes but we don't push it, we just have it there as an option if it's needed.
Do you rent HVAC equipment?
NO, DON'T EVER RENT HVAC EQUIPMENT!
If you are currently under contract for rental equipment like a furnace or air conditioner you should consider contacting a contract lawyer with experience in HVAC rental agreements. Most of these "agreements have clients on the hook for up to $20,000 for each appliance and sometimes more! not to mention the lien on your home. laws have been brought in to help protect consumers from these predatory contracts in recent years but unfortunately, good people are still being deceived by these awful rental agreements today.
